Firefighters Calendar - 2009
Over the last two years the Firefighters Calendar has raised $13500 for the Burns Unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The NSW calendar is a spin-off of the QLD version which has been raising funds for the Burns Unit in QLD for 15 years. The money raised in NSW has been used in the treatment, prevention and research into burns. Please help in raising funds by purchasing the 2009 Firefighters Calendar. The best to date...

Casey Barnes & Connor - "How Good It Would Be" CD Single
Connor has been a patient of The Children's Hospital at Westmead since he was only 3 hours old. Connor was born with Vacterl Syndrome which affects just about every part of his body, and is an inspiration to his doctors, nurses and everyone who meets him.
Connor's dream has been to be a "rock star" and with the help and hard work of many people, particularly singer/songwriter Casey Barnes and his wife Michelle Barnes this dream has become a reality.
Connor performed in a concert with Casey in Southport, Gold Coast, QLD on Thursday 20th September and is now keen to sell his first CD recorded with Casey Barnes called "'How Good It Would Be'.
Money raised from the CD will help "his" Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Westmead.
Many young boys aspire to be musicians, but what makes this 10 year old so special is that he performs despite having recently had his 40th operation, and having one to three procedures every couple of hours.

The Neurology/Neurosurgery Department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead has produced a calendar for 2009. It's the official Hospital calendar and is filled with great pictures of the kids at the Hospital.
All proceeds from the sale of this calendar go to the Department of Neurology / Neurosurgery to support our training program for Paediatric Neurologists and to help buy equipment necessary to assure maximum benefit to children evaluated and treated for neurological conditions at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Bear Cottage
Our children's hospice was the first to open in NSW in 2001. It is designed as a place where children with terminal illnesses and their families can stay from time to time and receive rest and medical care in a home-like environment.
